More Information Regarding the Mount Kisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade
As previously noted, Mount Kisco’s Ancient Order of Hibernians announced that George Griffin will be the Grand Marshall of the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 13. The parade will line up on Moore Street and start at 2:00 p.m. The parade will head north on Main Street before making a “U” turn and heading south on South Moger Avenue.
Not previously reported was that the Hibernian of the Year will be Veronica Yates. Veronica Yates serves as President of the Ladies A.O.H., Division 16. Also, the Friend of the Hibernians will be the Mount Kisco Fire Department, a truly worthy honoree.
Veronica Yates and the Mount Kisco Fire Department will be honored at the Grand Marshal installation dinner which will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, the week before the parade. The price of a ticket is $45 per person and the dinner will be held at the American Legion, the place where George Griffin volunteers so much of his time.
In connection with the parade, there will be a mass held on Saturday, March 13 prior to the parade at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11:30 a.m.
