Mount Kisco Fire Department had a Busy February.
The Mount Kisco Fire Department answered 53 calls for the month of February. This number of calls is greater than teh MKFD’s normal monthly average. On a rolling twelve month bases, the MKFD answered 470 calls from April 2009 to March 2010, about 39 each month. The increase was primarily due to calls associated with the inclement February weather.
The Mount Kisco Fire Department always jumps into action when called. All residents of Mount Kisco and residents in the MKFD’s fire district should avoid false alarms. To prevent unnecessary calls, please maintain your fire alarm system regularly.
