Mt. Kisco Library Plans to Change Hours to Open Six Days a Week

To respond to growing demand to open additional days, the Mount Kisco Library Board of Trustees with the Library Director have announced that the library will be open six days each week beginning September 7 (after Labor Day). The library will have the following hours:

Monday and Tuesday: 11:00 to 6:00
Wednesday and Thursday: 11:00 to 7:00
Friday: 11:00 to 5:00
Saturday: 10:00 to 4:00.

The Mount Kisco Library will also present the following programs. On Wednesday, August 11, at 6:30pm, the library will present “Waters Of Life” with storytellers Barry Marshall & Jeri Burns. This family program is a performance of world folktales using ethnic musical instruments, song & dance from the appropriate region.

The Friends of the Mount Kisco Library will sponsor two programs with historian Harry McCartney at the Mount Kisco Public Library. On Saturday, August 14, at 1:30, Mr. McCartney will discuss the history of the Branch Brook. On Thursday, August 19, at 4 pm. Mr. McCartney will discuss the history of Mount Kisco.
