Mount Kisco Promotes Two Police Officers to Sergeants

As previously reported, Mount Kisco promoted two officers to the rank of sergeant.  The promotions became official last night with Sergeant Reitter and Sergeant Spinelli taking the oath of office.  Sergeant Reitter has most recently served as a detective with the Mount Kisco Police Department.  Sergeant Spinelli is an experienced officer that has been responsible for mentoring and training new police officers.

After both officers complete their training, it will be a positive addition to the management and supervision of the Mount Kisco Police Department.  Of course, these promotions do not add to the number of officers on duty.  The Mount Kisco Police Department has 34 members, including members that are currently not active. 34 members leaves the police department three members short of its permitted headcount.
