Another Black Bear Sighting in Mt. Kisco

A fourth bear sighting occurred on Wednesday morning it Mount Kisco.   This is the first bear sighting reported in the morning.  The current sightings have been on the south end of Mount Kisco.

The first sighting was on Monday between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m on Kisco Avenue near the Saw Mill Parkway.  The second sighting was on Tuesday between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m on West Way.  Shortly later on Tuesday evening, there was a third sighting in the vicinity of the Mount Kisco Country Club.  This fourth sighting was on Wednesday morning at approximately 9:00 a.m. near the Mobil gas station at the corner of Lexington and Main Street.

If you see a bear in Mount Kisco, report it to the police by calling 914-241-1100.  To keep bears away from your property, put your garbage containers in your garage and, if you have a bird feeder, bring the feeder inside.
