MKFD Continues its Prompt Response to Fires

In addition to its other community activities, the Mount Kisco Fire Department continues to respond quickly to fires and alarms. Over the last two weeks, the Mount Kisco Fire Department has sponsored a blood drive and hosted a groundbreaking for a memorial to the victims of the attacks on September 11. 2001.

On Thursday, November 11, the Mount Kisco Fire Department extinguished a large brush fire behind Diplomat Tower near the Metro North Railroad tracks possibly started by homeless individuals living in the area. Over the last three months, the Mount Kisco Fire Department responded to an average of 45 calls each month.

Thanks again to the Mount Kisco Fire Department for their service to the community.
