Pictures of Frozen Byram Lake

Below are a few pictures of a frozen Byram Lake Reservoir taken by local photographer Art Nelson in February. Byram Lake Reservoir is Mount Kisco’s primary source of drinking water. The Byram Lake Reservoir area has been designated since 1990 by New York State as a critical environmental area because of its exceptional and unique characteristics. Even though it is a reservoir, the lake is part of our natural environment. In the picture on the left, you can see tracks across the snow on the lake. In the picture on the right, the sun is a harbinger of better weather ahead.
