Board of Trustees to Hold Meeting on Budget

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Kisco will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 7:30 pm in Village Hall to discuss the proposed budget for the 2011/2012 fiscal year. Mount Kisco residents face a property tax increase of approximately 3.66 percent under the proposed 2011-2012 village budget.

Over the last seven years, since Mayor Cindrich was elected, the Mount Kisco property tax rate has increased by 52.44% over the last seven years on a compounded basis. During that same period, the inflation rate only increased by 18.77%.
