Fox Lane Appoints New Varsity Football Coach

The Bedford Central School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Quinn as Fox Lane’s new Varsity football coach. Mr. Quinn succeeds Bill Broggy, who has served as the head coach for the FLHS varsity team for the past twelve years and is leaving to spend more time with his family in the fall.

Mr. Quinn, a Fox Lane Middle School guidance counselor, has worked with the football program for the past seven years, five years with the modified program and the last two years as an assistant varsity football coach.

Director of Athletics, Beth Staropoli, commented, “I am delighted the committee selected Steve because of his passion for our students and his desire to provide them with the qualities we value in our athletic program.”

Bill Broggy, pictured below, will continue to teach history at Fox Lane High School, coach girls lacrosse and work with the Landshark’s lacrosse program. The Landshark Lacrosse Club is a club organized to help girls develop their lacrosse skills on a year-round schedule.
