Two notices were sent out by the Bedford Central School District. At 8:30 this morning, the Bedford Police contacted Dr. Adelberg, Principal of FLHS, and reported that an internet conversation was intercepted indicating a potential threat to the FLHS. Bedford Police are on site and the high school and district emergency response teams have met and decided to dismiss students as soon a is possible. At this time the Fox Lane High School and Fox Lane Middle School are on lock out mode – that means that no one can come in or out and all students are safe.
For Fox Lane High School students:
The school district intends to dismiss Fox Lane High School students at 10:45 and get them home by bus. High School Students who drive will be dismissed after the busses depart.
For Fox Lane Middle School students:
The Fox Lane Middle School will remain on lock out mode and complete their school day. Please do not come to the Fox Lane Campus as you will be turned away. Your presence will interfere with our ability to do a dismissal.
